Germany coach Martin Heuberger rested some of his best players before tomorrow’s game against Egypt and that cost him some headaches. Chile was an outsider, but Germany reached expected result only in the last ten minutes of the game. There were no doubts about the name of the winner, but Southamerican team resisted well in the first half and surprised Germans with three goals in a row, reducing their lead to 13:8 in 25th minute.

Highly motivated Chilean players were finally broken in the last ten minutes, when Germans found their rhythm and scored nine goals.

Chile could not avoid the last place in Group B, while Germany has deciding match against Egypt for the first place tomorrow.

HUGO DEL CARMEN VALDEBENITO, head coach of Chile: We are not happy with the last place in the group, but we are very optimistic about the second round. This result is not bad and there is a progress in our game.

MARTIN HEUBERGER, head coach of Germany: I think that my players were already with tomorrow’s match against Egypt in their minds. It will be very tough match and that’s why this result is OK. I had to rest some of my players because it is very hot here and they need to stay fresh
