The head coaches of the 20 national teams in Men's Junior World Championship 2007 in Macedonia promoted Uwe Genseimer from Germany for Most Valuable Player. Also in the all star team are included:

After losing the European title to Germany last year in Innsbruck, Sweden took revenge in the final of the 16th Junior WCh in Macedonia. Sweden won its second world crown after beating German team with 31:29 in a brilliant final match. The second goalkeeper Andreas Palicka made it real with his saves in the second half, helping his team to make a outstanding reversal. The goalkeepers were not in the focus in the first half, but Jens Vortmann stopped three shots in the opening minutes. Combination of strong defence and high efficiency in attacks gave Germany five goals lead in the middle of the first half (11:6).

Denmark won the bronze medal on the youth WC, beating Croatia with 27-26 in very tight game. The players of Denmark, who were actual world champs from the last WC, won the game in the finish, when they scored three goals and received one. Also, the goalkeeper of Denmark, Tim Winkler was in great shape again and he saved four balls in the last three minutes. Although they lose the game, this is the best placement for Croats in this category ever.

Outstanding performance by Vadim Bogdanov helped Russia to beat Macedonia with 30:23 for the ninth position in overal standing. The Russian goalkeeper saved 22 shots and was a real nightmare for Macedonian attack. The host team ended the Championship at tenth place. Both teams made lots of mistakes in the opening minutes and Russians scored for the first time in their tenth attempt. Then, with three goals in a row, they took 3:1 lead and the biggest danger was right wing Daniil Sishkarev. With no concentration and ideas, Macedonian players were making mistake after mistake that produced fastbreaks on the other side and in the 15th minute it was 10:3 for Russia.

Spain took 5th place at JWC after beating team of Egypt. In first half match was equal until last ten minutes. In that period Spain manages to take two goals lead but 4 minutes till the Egypt equalize (12:12). Marti Gurbindo scores last two goals to gain new advantage for Spain after first half. Egypt was better team in first ten minutes in second half and came close, only one goal behind (20:21). But that was it. In next seven minute Spain scores six goals in a row and secures the victory and fifth place.

France took the seventh place in its first participation at the WCh in eight years and once again Vincent Gerard was in the focus. French goalkeeper ended the match with 13 saves, but he was at his best in the crucial moments. France made four goals lead in the middle of the first half (6:10), but, contrary to Gerard, his teammates in attacks were not at his level. They managed to keep the lead till the halftime, but not to increase it.

Young handball player of Korea in last moment of extra time beat Kuwait with 39:37 and took 11-th place on world championship. Almost 60 minutes of match Korea have lead but with few mistakes in last minutes of game give up Kuwait chance to equalize result. In 10 minutes extra time both team take a lead but Korea in last 60 second scored twice and win against Kuwait with 39:37.

Not interesting game with lot of mistakes, and weak defense of both team. In the end Argentina. Win on extra time with 34 to 32. In first half Slovakia have control of result with advantage of 4 points but with series of 4 goals South Americans equalize results on 14:14. Second half was identical game like first period for 28:28 after 60 minutes. In extra time Argentina play good defense with several counterattack make 3 points lead and keep it till 34:32 in the end. Argentina is 13-th on world championship, Slovakia 14-th.

Germany will play in junior WCh final for the first time in 24 years and will try to win its first title after beat Croatia with 29:21 thanks to strong defence and the goalkeeper Jens Vortmann's 19 saves. On the other side, Croatia will have a chance to win its first medal, against Denmark in the third place match. Opponent's weak defence was a main reason for Germany easily to take early three goals lead (1:4). On the other side, Germany's defence was doing its job very well and Vortmann made six saves in the first ten minutes of the match.

Sweden is the first finalist of the tournament, after they beat Denmark in Scandinavian clash with 32-29. Swedes were better team during the entire match, they deserve to win, because from the first minute, players of coach Gunnar Blomback played excellent in the offense and very efficient in the attack. Goalkeeper of Sweden, Johan Sjostrand, was hero of the match with 19 saves.
